TAMPICOBAGS® is a collection of bags within our traditional French family business J.Martin Trépointes in the leather industry.
It was in 1992 that Nicole Martin created and launched a line of luggage, applying the high expertise of the company to develop a collection of purely shaped bags in beautiful natural materials. This is the start of the TAMPICOBAGS® adventure.
It is with his daughter Julie Martin designer, that the models are developed and manufactured in the workshops in Mussidan in the Dordogne.
Bags go around the world, in a casual, timeless and simple style.
TAMPICOBAGS is the symbol of a chic, elegant or urban French way of life with its tote bags and big colorful bags synonymous with weekend at the sea or in the countryside.
TAMPICOBAGS is distributed in Europe, Australia, Asia and the United States and exported all over the world and seduces for its know-how and its production 100% Made in France and its attachment to the beautiful materials, pure cotton, pure natural linen faded or dyed with the exclusive colors.

Our materials are selected with the utmost care for their quality and durability.
The pure cotton we use is manufactured, crafted, dyed in exclusive colors, and woven from natural fibers in France.
We are committed to selecting French suppliers; however, as our long-standing French leather supplier has unfortunately closed, we also work with the best Italian tanneries that uphold environmentally friendly practices. The leathers we select are traditionally vegetable-tanned using plant extracts. Vegetable tanning is achieved through tannins extracted from trees such as the oak.
