TAMPICOBAGS® is a collection of bags within our traditional French family business J.Martin Trépointes in the leather industry.
It was in 1992 that Nicole Martin created and launched a line of luggage, applying the high expertise of the company to develop a collection of purely shaped bags in beautiful natural materials. This is the start of the TAMPICOBAGS® adventure.
It is with his daughter Julie Martin designer, that the models are developed and manufactured in the workshops in Mussidan in the Dordogne.
Two collections are presented each year in various international fairs such as Maison et Objet in Paris and since 2009 on Tampicobags. Bags go around the world, in a casual, timeless and simple style.
TAMPICOBAGS is the symbol of a chic, elegant or urban French way of life with its tote bags and big colorful bags synonymous with weekend at the sea or in the countryside.
TAMPICOBAGS is distributed in Europe, Australia, Asia and the United States and exported all over the world and seduces for its know-how and its production 100% Made in France and its attachment to the beautiful materials, pure cotton, pure natural linen faded or dyed with the exclusive colors.

We manufacture all bags entirely and exclusively in our workshop located in Mussidan in the South-West of France in Dordogne.

These materials are manufactured, crafted, dyed with exclusive colors and woven with natural fibers by producers, manufacturers, artisans located in France.
The pure cotton, pure linen, pure wool that we use are 100% of French origin.
Our high standards lead us to select French suppliers, however, our historic supplier located in France having unfortunately closed, we also work with the best Italian and Spanish tanners, these leathers have no equivalent in France.
The leathers we select are vegetable tanned in the traditional way with plant extracts. Vegetable tanning is done using tannins extracted from trees such as oak.
Our materials are selected with the greatest care for their quality and durability.
